I work with you to achieve your goals. It’s really that simple. My clients, whether solo entrepreneurs or company leaders, talk about their businesses, and themselves, doing “a complete 180.”

Having directly supervised, managed, and mentored 1000+ employees over 15 years prior to coaching, I have a knack for motivating people even in the most difficult situations and for asking the questions that dissolve sticky problems and crack open opportunities you never knew existed.
When you come to me, I’ll quickly help you clarify what you and your team really want and need. (Most of us have an idea about what we want, but this step is often done ineffectively, which ends up costing us time, satisfaction, and money.)
I then work with you to design your road map, meeting, project, system, launch, team, year, or overall business.
I’m a coach, not only a consultant. Which means I don’t just come in, type up a report, and say bye. I come in and take you where you want to go.
Ultimately, I empower you so that you don’t have to work with me forever (though you may want to because once you’re on a roll with the whole growing success thing, the possibilities are endless). No fluff, just the essential stuff.

What I Do
I meet with clients either one-on-one, in pairs, or in groups. Sessions start at half days and can be scheduled for full workdays, depending on what’s needed. Coaching can happen in person (in San Francisco at no extra fee, though not as simple during covid), on the phone, or over Zoom. In essence, I become your “what would I do without you” new favorite work partner. That’s based on real words from real clients.

That’s me. Founder of You Design You.
I don’t dillydally. I’m direct, practical, and warm. I walk the talk by teaching skills I use myself, by building myself and my business to new heights, just as I help you do. The process is fun, the results are gratifying, and I love it. I’m funny, I think. People laugh, so that’s a good sign.
Here are some details that make it easy to get budgetary approval: I have a business degree in organizational behavior and leadership. I’ve been a certified coach since 2011; I’ve written curriculum and training manuals on a wide variety of topics. I’ve spent the last 25 years wearing all different coaching, consulting, managing, hiring, and training hats, working with individuals and as a group facilitator, supervisor, mentor, coach, and consultant.
I spent 10 years as a group facilitator—and master of helping people get along—by leading groups abroad to the Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the Global South. (For the record, nothing beats getting to know a family of strangers that welcome you into their home.)
Over the years, I’ve found I have a gift for helping people see what they can’t about themselves and for helping them change those things. That’s the art I bring to people like you and businesses like yours — to patch weak spots and mine big opportunities for growth.
